For a church or ministry or other group to belong here, it must uphold the two doctrines, "Do that which is right" and "Support freedom of religion". It may be affiliated with the Universal Life Church in Modesto, California, or a separated group which still upholds the same ideals, like the Progressive Universal Life Church or Universal Ministries. It may not add doctrinal tenets which would exclude people who believe in the original tenets. This means a group which is avowedly following another religion such as Christianity or Hinduism is not considered to be Universal Life Church even if organized under the ULC and led by minister(s) ordained by the ULC. Identification with movements or ideologies which are not exclusive, such as Unitarian, Pantheist, Agnostic, Pagan, etc., or supporting certain parts of society, such as LGBT or other minority concerns, is acceptable.
A church started in 1959. The Universal Life Church is headquartered in Modesto, California. There are only two doctines, "Do what is right" and "Support freedom of religion".
